My Blahs

If you're wondering where did half my deviations go, I sent them to scraps, mainly because I don't like them and they make my gallery look ugly XD;; but also because they did belong to scraps from the start as they were unfinished or silly pencil doodles. Still you must check out my scraps please because as I just said, I've sent half my works there now.

Or not.

I'm really sorry for not replying to comments on anything, let it be art or profile or journal! DA isn't so user-friendly on my new internet so it's a pain to navigate. It's some cache problem or something, but it can't be fixed. Gomen nasai, minna-san! And thank you so much everyone for taking their time to comment or fav my deviations, it really means a lot to me!

I reeeeeally need to update my journal more often. But before that, I really need to upload more art here. Gomen ne! I shall get to it soon, I've just been helluvalot busy with school that I don't get time for anything else! Anyway, happy happy Christmas everyone! And a very merry new year!

I can't believe its 2008 already. 2007 was such a small year, and its over already! It was one of my better years, I must admit. I learned loads this year, and I changed a lot. I went from suicidal emo teenager, to a happy-go-lucky mature person! Major change, if you ask me. I feel strangely happy all the time . I also listened to lotsa J-pop this year, I learned to appriciate music, became more comfortable with race and sexuality, and well, generally everything that happened was for the good.

My new year's resolution includes learning to sing, play the piano, draw more, get at least 90% in HSC-I, play more video games, help the poor and needy, learn to fly a plane, scuba dive into the Indian Ocean, go to Mars, bake cookies, etc etc. Share yours! What would your new year's resolution be?

Getting back to my last journal entry, things have moved on quite a lot and quite well. I figured I just needed to find myself before I could find any friends. I just needed to come out of the closet and stand up for what I deserved!

Point is, you can't expect people to like you if you don't show your true self. If you keep on hiding yourself from others, no one will notice you or befriend you. You just need to be yourself wherever you go...unless you're an annoying prick, in that case, you need to change yourself for others and for your own good. Sometimes being yourself is just...not enough.

So, I have lots of friends now who text me all the time. It's so nice to actually have friends who hang around with you, give you a shoulder to cry on, and listen to your blabber. Strangely, all my friends are from completely different cliques so they don't enjoy hanging around with each other. Ah well. I try to make everyone feel comfortable and not rub too much into their face...well, sometimes I do rub it in but not too hard (nope, no sexual innuendo here).

We fight, we make up. That's what friends do. If you've never had a fight with your friends, you're probably not close enough. It's human nature. When you're far apart, you feel like getting closer, but when you get close enough, you want to get far apart again. I feel like quoting another lyric, but I cherish my life more than philosophy, so I'll shut up now.
